| Kate Bramley (Company
Director- Theatre) |

| Kate
trained at Hull University Drama Department (BA Hons 1st Class) and later as an Associate
Director at Hull Truck Theatre, working as an assistant director to Simon Stallworthy and
later John Godber. This began her long directorial association with the theatre, where she
directed a range of contemporary and classic shows, as well as youth theatre work. She founded Badapple Theatre Company in 1998 when
she wrote and directed 'Amy Johnson' for a premiere at the Edinburgh Festival, and later
two national tours, as well as winning an award for stage design.
Her writing credits for Badapple
include: 'Laurel and Charlie', 'An Honorary Yorkshireman', 'Amy Johnson', 'Marlowe, meet
Raymond Chandler', 'Fighting The Tide' and 'Still Marilyn'. |

| Ruth trained under
Percy Harris and Alison Chitty on the Motley Theatre Design Course , after graduating from Hull University, where she and Kate
Bramley had already begun a close collaborative relationship. She has an extensive and
impressive portfolio of work as a freelance designer for both opera and drama, including
work for the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, English Touring Opera,
Glyndebourne Opera, as well as Hull Truck Theatre and Live Theatre, Newcastle. |
| Alice Bartlett (Director-
Theatre) |

| Alice trained at Manchester University and was an early recipient of the
Regional Young Directors Award that saw her continue her training alongside great
directors at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Hull Truck, Stephen Joseph Scarborough and York
Theatre Royal. As a freelance director she has had a long and distinguished
association with Hull Truck Theatre, where her latest production of John Godber's
'Unleashed' broke all box office records for the theatre.
She also served as Education and
outreach Director at Harrogate Theatre Royal, and Basingstoke Haymarket, as well as
facilitating exciting new touring plans for Box Clever Theatre Company in London.
Her energy and commitment to
producing top quality work, and to the theatre scene in Yorkshire as a whole, has made her
a vital addition to the Badapple Theatre Company. |
| Jez Lowe (Company Director-

| Jez Lowe is a
world renowned touring singer songwriter originally from the North-east of England, who
since 2007 has been a Badapple Theatre Company director specialising in creating new music
projects for rural touring as well as original soundtracks for theatre productions. See

| John Bramley (Production
Manager) |

| John Bramley
is a much respect stage and lighting designer and a long time integral part of the
Badapple Theatre team. For the last five years John has been working as
Production/ Technical Manager for the touring arm of Bury St. Edmonds Theatre Royal, and
prior to that for many nationally touring companies. He has been a mainstay of Badapple
since 1998 providing excellent sets and lighting design for the company, including a World
War II replica bi-plane for the company premiere of a play about Amy Johnson! |
| Jason Hird (Clowning
director) |

| Jason
is a director, performer, producer and designer. Based in Leeds, works locally, nationally
and internationally. Founded and toured numerous comedy physical theatre shows with Leikin
Loppu Theatre Company; latterly worked in new circus on hoop and trapeze; and is currently
the director of the Institute for Crazy Dancing... creating site-specific participatory

Colin Moncrieff
(Stan in Laurel and Charlie) |
 |
|
Colin graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama last
century and apart from a 3 year sojourn in New York has lived and worked extensively in
theatre, TV and film all over Scotland. Currently based in Edinburgh he is delighted to be
working on the brand-new play 'Laurel & Charlie' was this is his first professional
engagement both with Badapple and south of the border! |
Phil Yarrow
(Charlie in Laurel and Charlie) |

Phil
is originally from the North East. He trained at Manchester University, where he gained a
1st Class Honours degree in Drama. Most
recent theatre work was at the Garrick Lichfield as Lucky/Boy
in
WAITING
FOR GODOT. Prior to that
he was in
A COMEDY OF ERRORS, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, ALEX, THE WARRIOR, AND THE WINTER
STAR, all for the Northumberland Touring Theatre. Phil has
worked often for the Bradford Alhambra TIE Company Twisting Yarn as well as Bolton
Octogon, Harrogate Theatre and Hull Truck Theatre. |
Neil Kent
(Herriot in An Honorary Yorkshireman) |

Neil trained at Queen Margaret
University and graduated in 2000 since then he has been based in Edinburgh. Neil
previously worked with Kate Bramley at Rosslyn Chapel in The Apprentice. Recent theatre
includes A Midsummer Nights Dream (Nonsense Room) and Denial (Red Card Theatre) TV
and film includes Doctors (BBC) and Micawber (Yorkshire TV). |
Lois Creasy
(Columbine in Laurel and Charlie films) |
Trained
at Queen Margaret, Edinburgh. Lois really enjoyed working with everyone on this
project with Bad apple. Her recent productions include The Ballad of James II at Greenwich
Theatre, The Upsidedown world, Oddsocks Theatre co, A Christmas carol, The Apprentice, Ae
fond kiss and Its A wonderful Life for Nonsenseroom, A Midsummer Nights Dream,
The Taming of the Shrew and Romeo and Juliet for Glasgow repertory Company. Lois has
worked on many forum projects with Foxtrot company and and is about to start working on a
feature film called Northside for Sabre Films. |
