Kate Bramley- Company Director of Badapple- has recently been
involved in designing a flexible 'play in a day' session for Year 6 pupils to take a
practical look at 'Macbeth' as part of the Shakespeare element of the curriculum.
The students use a pared down text that still uses the archaic language and learn to
physicalise different characters within the drama. The emphasis is on understanding the
story of the piece, with an optional presentation performance at the end of the school day
for class mates and/ or parents. For more information about this programme contact the Badapple
office on 01423 339168.
Please note that sessions
covering Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Nights Dream are also available. We also
offer three day linked sessions for Year 6 classes. |
